Squirrly and HubSpot were the only companies with a big user base who have built Marketing Audit solutions, instead of keeping the status quo and just building annoying SEO Audits that showed very basic “errors”.
After a while, HubSpot stopped innovating in this area, and then kind of withdrew from it, but Squirrly pressed on and we ended up having two different kinds of marketing audits:
- one in Squirrly SEO
- one in ContentLook
The one insde ContentLook became super advanced and highly visual over time, which helped many marketing teams execute complex digital strategies.
